These unique, porcelain Ginkgo earrings have been made using the impression from real Ginkgo leaves – known for their healing power and longevity in nature.
The earrings measure 3.5cm (5cm including the silver loop, total length), and 3.5cm at the widest point. The loops are allergenic silver plated metal.
The piece weighs only 2.7g each – so light, delicate, yet robust being fired to 1280°C stoneware. Please treat this jewellery as you would glass jewellery or Swarovski crystal jewellery (putting it on in a carpeted room, not on a tiled floor).
The pair have been sensitively glazed with copper oxide to create subtle grey/green colouration and I’ve applied pearl lustre to the enhance the ribbed texture you find on real Ginkgo leaves, this sparkles in the daylight when they are worn.
